Our country is a presidential republic; we elect a female president every 5 years. Today our president is Michelle Annan. For over ten years now our political and economic stability has been threatened by two neighbouring countries (Purpurea and country 10) who claim sovereignty rights of some of the islands.

Economy

We are the richest country in the world. We have a system that simultaneously allows our citizens to trade in the ways they prefer but also we see to it that everyone gets what he deserves.

As head of the space race we develop highly advanced technologies regarding space discovery.

Demographics

The Republic of Andromeda has always been the world’s best. Not only in the economic field but also medically. This made sure everyone gets the best health care there is. We can conclude that because of our wealth people have a high life expectancy.

But our wealth is also noticeable in the field of education.

Social

Today we see the positive consequences of decisions our former presidents took because the standard of living in our republic is very high. Everyone has a place to live and a job! One of the few things that lowers our standard of living is the heightened threat level. Due to that, we reintroduced military draft for men and women between 18 and 25 years old.

Geography

Thanks to the Gulf Stream and our location between different countries, we have a temperate climate. On top of that, our country consists of many beautiful islands, all different in size. We are surrounded by the sea.

Ecology

Thanks to different investments in the past to develop new recycling methods, we are now pioneers in recycling. Our main source of energy comes from green energy. We are against everything that can or will pollute our environment.

Culture

We believe in looking towards the future in a positive, innovative way. We want to do this in every way possible with eye for every aspect that is important for our people and our country. It’s very important that our people are happy and that they support our choices. To realize this, we created a system that makes it possible for us to know what everyone thinks of the decisions made by the government. This leads to some values we appreciate, like modest behaviour, servitude and solidarity. We prohibit discrimination. We don’t believe that certain roles should be filled in based on sex, race, religion; nevertheless everyone will work for something that is his/her own. Thanks to some measures our people can take every opportunity they want, whether it is starting up a company or buying a house or investing in research, …

Tourism

The Republic of Andromeda has the world’s most famous Space Centre Visitor Complex. We can say that this is our main tourist attraction. In this complex, you can discover various exhibits. Even a little rock brought from Earth. And don't forget the islands! The Republic of Andromeda is well known for its wonderful Islands. Each Island has his own specialty. You can not compare one island to the other, they are so different in every way possible. To stimulate tourism, we also have a few restaurants, museums,… People eventually come heren to visit the space complex but if you haven't visited the islands you cannot say that you have been to Andromeda.
